Honors classes include the curriculum of the on-level classes, but with a more in-depth study of the areas within the course. The Honors curriculum is designed to prepare students for AP, dual credit (DC), On-Ramps (OR), or the next Honors course in that subject area. Students who are successful in Honors classes should consider taking AP, dual credit, and OnRamps courses. Royal High School's Honors courses courses require more individual initiative, analytical reading, student interaction, research, and time for outside class preparation.
