The Falcon Maintenance & Operations team was honored at the September 9, 2024, School Board Meeting for their outstanding dedication and contributions to Royal ISD. Their tireless work ensures that our district's facilities are well-maintained and ready to support our students, staff, and community. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do!
Royal ISD covers a vast area of 161 square miles and encompasses 167.36 acres. The district boasts 650,000 square feet of interior space, including six campuses, the Royal ISD Administration Building, the Royal ISD Transportation Center, and various auxiliary facilities. The Falcon maintenance team works around the clock to ensure these spaces are in excellent condition.
On the exterior, the grounds team maintains approximately 151 acres, which includes 28 acres of athletic fields.
In the 2023-2024 school year alone, the dedicated team completed an impressive 2,217 work orders, showcasing their unwavering commitment to keeping our district running smoothly. Their hard work does not go unnoticed!
