The UIL Academics team traveled to their first invitational of the year last Saturday. They competed at the Waller Boo-vitational at Waller High School along with over 25 other schools, predominantly 5A and 6A. All schools were grouped together with places going from 1st place to 10th place. As a holiday themed invitational, a few students came in costume. Seniors Kimberly Pedraza and Eleanor Recinos won the costume contest.
