Royal MCJROTC reached a new milestone, achieving their highest score of the season with a 1014.6 to 964.9 victory over Lumen Christi High School in the 2024 National Sporter Air Rifle League. Leading the team was Kimberly Sanchez, scoring an impressive 257.0. Contributing team members included Arlette Rivera, Nathan Covington, and Jacob Carter. The team hails from Pattison, TX, and is coached by LaShan Bland.
Next, Royal MCJROTC is set to face Ramona MCJROTC from Riverside, CA, who currently holds a 3-2 record. Lumen Christi High School will compete against Bob Jones AFJROTC from Madison, AL, with a current 0-3 record.
The Champions Division is reserved for the elite teams in the country, with the top eight from the regular season advancing to a single-elimination tournament to compete for the championship.
